These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GQI Product Configurator and the related Resources & Tools (including calculators, unit converters, and reference indexes), together with any related pages and outputs (collectively, the "Tool") provided by Grand Quest Industries LLC ("GQI," "we," "us"). Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using the Tool — including by clicking "Start configuring," entering information, or generating a configuration — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Tool. If you use the Tool on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
The Tool is a reference and selection aid intended to help you describe and request GQI products. It is not an offer, quotation, order acceptance, or contract, and using it does not create any binding agreement between you and GQI.
Any outputs — including configurations, descriptions, product codes, GQI part numbers, dimensions, materials, specifications, and any indications of compliance, ratings, suitability, lead time, or availability — are provisional and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, current, available, or fit for any particular purpose. All such information is subject to verification and confirmation by a GQI specialist before any order proceeds. Part numbers generated by the Tool are provisional until confirmed and assigned by GQI.
The Tool includes optional calculators, unit converters, and reference indexes (the "Resources & Tools"). These are provided for general information and estimation only. Their results, values, and reference data — including without limitation volumes, capacities, conversions, bulk densities, mesh and screen calculations, dimensional and fitting references, and any summaries of standards or regulations — are approximate, may be incomplete or out of date, and may differ materially from real-world values, from your specific materials and conditions, or from the governing standards.
The Resources & Tools do not constitute engineering, design, safety, regulatory, legal, or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for testing, professional judgment, or consultation with qualified professionals. For safety-critical or regulated matters — including combustible-dust and explosion safety (e.g., NFPA, ATEX, OSHA), structural design, and bulk-material flow design — you must rely on qualified professionals and on your material's independently tested data, not on the Resources & Tools. You are solely responsible for verifying any result before relying on it, and for confirming material-specific values with GQI or through independent testing.
The Tool and its outputs are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. GQI does not warrant that the Tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GQI and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or reliance on, the Tool or its outputs, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. You are responsible for independently verifying any output before relying on it.
The Tool — including its design, structure, organization, source code, logic, text, graphics, the part-numbering system, and the GQI name and logo — is owned by GQI and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. All rights are reserved.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not, and may not permit others to:
Brand and model names of third-party manufacturers (for example, equipment makers referenced for fitment) are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and reference only. Their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners except where GQI is an authorized distribution or integration partner.
Subject to these Terms, GQI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Tool solely to evaluate, specify, and request GQI products for your own legitimate business purposes. No other use is permitted.
Information you enter or submit through the Tool may be used by GQI to respond to your request, prepare a quotation, and improve our products and services, consistent with our Privacy Policy. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information that you do not wish to share with GQI. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
GQI may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Tool, and may update these Terms, at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Tool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Illinois for any dispute arising out of or relating to the Tool or these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
